About the Wanderer
the Wandering Armenian walks a path shaped by faith, heritage, and quiet surrender. Born into the deep traditions of Goan-Portuguese ancestry, their family’s story carries the echoes of a faith rooted long before modern nations drew their borders. For over twenty years, the author served on the front lines of humanitarian aid, traveling across nations scarred by conflict, disaster, and hardship-learning to discern the tender voice of the Master amidst both the storms and the stillness.
Now, swaying between the rhythms of the Indian Ocean & the whispers of the Pacific, the author has turned to baking-not merely as a craft, but as a form of devotion. In flour, heat, and the slow rise of dough, they glimpse reflections of God’s work in the soul: patient, refining, and full of grace. Each recipe, each reflection becomes a quiet offering to Potter’s hand.
Through this humble blog, the author invites his readers whom he believes to be likeminded home bakers, cooks, and culinary lovers, to share in a journey of faith, flavor, and renewal-always pointing back to the One from whom all grace flows-that's Christ Jesus. To Him alone be all glory and honour.
(The stories and incidents being shared here are adapted from my travels and recipes are aged old traditional ones that have been passed down generations.)
